Theme Park Field

Swiftly as a river ever flowed,
humans head down a plain, scentless road.
On that gray, they make their lives less dark,
or so they think on that road so stark.
They come to a place called a theme park
thinking they'll be happy as a lark.
Some of them act like they would have died
without going on a theme park ride.

I know my boredom can be healed
within a serene, breezy field.
I don't need an expensive pass
to relax on some nice, green grass.
Here, it is quite easy to find
many a breeze on which my mind
can ride in many different ways
before sliding down nice sun rays.

Those humans are all racing clocks,
but that means nothing to this fox.
They deal with when a park will close
and try to fight time as it flows.
Yet look, no locked doors or barred gates
block this field any times or dates.
This is another kind of park
where memories may make their mark.
